‘ We had two perfect days driving through the indescribable beauty of the Yorkshire Dales with our guide, Howard. We had been fine-tuning this private tour via email for several months, so when we arrived there was nothing left to do but sit back and enjoy. We had told Howard that we wanted to experience the "real" All Creatures Great and Small and Howard was uniquely suited to this task. He not only grew up on a Yorkshire farm, but Alf Wight (James Herriot) was his family's vet. As Howard drove the curving lanes from site to site, he entertained and taught us about the land, life and people of North Yorkshire.
As fans of ACGS for 5 decades, we had so many memories of locations, almost as if we had been there, and suddenly here we were.
The phrase "dream come true" is over-used - but I assure you that is exactly what we experienced ‘

A knowledgeable and congenial person, he listened to what I wanted to see and planned two brilliant days in the Dales and Moors. He is a joy to travel with. I loved his flexibility in planning.
